Job news…
So I called today and while she was very impressed by my spreadsheet that I sent, she said they really need someone who can regularly work overtime, and I really can’t commit to *any*. But she is keeping my CV on file in case anything else comes up.
Also got another call today from someone who saw my CV on Workopolis… but it was another placement agency. So I told them I was on a contract right now through another agency and that I wasn’t planning on going with an agency again next time I was looking.
Still deciding about taking time off or not in April. I could really use it but I don’t know that it’s financially feasible. When I think about it in terms of how much money we “lose” in one day of me not working, it feels like too much of a sacrifice.
I have definitely decided though to keep my standards high when I am job searching. I don’t want to end up “settling” for something. I’m going to keep my “ideal job” checklist handy and not give up on finding my ideal job.

So Avery was signing a song Harmony likes:
and started out with:
“You be the right band, I’ll be the good band”
pretty close to the actual tune.
Of course he’s 3 right so after a minute it dissolved into:
“You be the right poop, I’ll poop in the good poop”.
Menawhile….
Harmony’s playing a “word guess” game on the internet, and had a two-word puzzle. We were joking about some strange combos like “Tuna Hay” and “Tuna Hoe”, and turns out that yep, “Tuna Hoe” was acceptable. So excuse me while I hoe my Tuna crop in the garden… 
Trying to decide if we’re going to church this morning… I’ll really like to get back into the routine and go maybe once a month. But that involves getting up and getting dressed on time, etc. Decision decisions…

Happy Family day!
I am home with my munchkins. Which is obviously important to me because if I’d gone to work, I hear I would’ve been paid time-and-a-half. Their daycare is closed anyway though so one of us had to stay home. Right now we’re just chilling out after having dropped Paul off @ work.
I’m feeling better than I was Sat evening and Sun morning. Still nauseous but not as bad. Still wondering what I am sick with, if anything? Overall my health is better than it was last week at least.
Deciding what to do today – asked Avery if he wanted to go swimming this afternoon with Stella and of course he said “yes!”. Harmony is not as keen on swimming but would like to go to Midway. Knowing me, I’ll probably try to accommodate both. But I’d also been thinking I might try to bring the kids to see my grandmas. so yah, a lot to try to squeeze into one day!

(he says this a lot and it’s too cute to correct him)
