so my mother seems to think that buying my children new clothes gives her the right to do whatever she wants with the old ones. I hesitate to pack some of the things I really like when they go over there because I never know whether or not they will come back. This is a reality I dealt with my whole childhood, with favourite clothes mysteriously disappearing, even including a much-loved Tie-dye shirt that got “ruined in the wash” when I was 21!
The items of issue this time around were the kids’ snowsuits.
