Beacon Hill fire
March 15th, 2009 -- Posted in family, hill to haven, life as a mom, pain / disability, pics | Comments OffSo Friday night, we were all settled in for Family Movie Night and halfway through The Incredibles when we noticed some lights flickering. This was shortly followed by some popping sounds, loss of power, and the smell of something burning.
Paul investigated while I tried to distract the kids. A neighbour came by to point us in the direction of the very big cloud of black smoke just off the edge of the condo property.
