cake fails
April 14th, 2009 -- Posted in domestic engineering, painkillers, pics | Comments OffSo my weekend was pretty wrecktastic, cake-wise. Although I agree with my hubby’s comment that at least the Cake Wrecks blog has made the occurrence of misspelled or otherwise mucked-up cakes more bearable.

Because apparently when I scribble down a recipe off the internet, “3 tsps” can be taken to mean three tablespoons.
Actually I blame my current state of “brain fog” for the error more so than the writing. I can’t seem to get anything right these days. I’m working on a big cross-stitch project and keep having to go back and take out rows and rows I’ve just stitched because I’ve made a dumb mistake. 
And my memory is just shot all to hell.
Here’s hoping 1year+ of painkillers and what not hasn’t fried my brain cells completely and that will be able to reverse itself at some point in the future. I used to have a really good memory, too!!!
