new cards ~ “washington apple” colours
Was very excited to get my last set of Stampin’ Up supplies!
I finally caved in an got the scallop circle punch that everyone had except me. The theory was “well if all my friends have it, I could just borrow it when I need it”, but it’s handy to have the tools right there for when the mood strikes you, ya know?
I also got a new set of papers – washinton apple… love the colours! I’d put a card together with Chocolate Chip and Bashful Blue and then was looking for coordinating paper and voila, this was the perfect accompaniment…
The bottom card will be for my Dad’s birthday and the middle one was a Congratulations card for Paul’s friends who got engaged recently (congrats Karen & Ian!). The top card is the original design that inspired getting this paper in the first place when I started planning out some “Change of Address” announcement cards.
Another recent stamping project was a thank you card for Avery’s childcare provider:
The pink paper flips up and the “thank you” message is inside.
I’m going to try staying on a card-making, scrapbooking kick for the next few weeks (until my last Crop on May 9th) because after that I’ll be packing all my scrappy stuff!!
