Give-away: FREE unique new baby gift!
I’m excited to announce a new line of baby gifts from KStar Design… baby birth plaques!
They share all the hand-crafted and personalized characteristics of hand-painted nursery signs (you know, with the cute ribbons and bows), but are very stream-lined and modern… All the customization and colour is added at the graphics design level, so you are left with a finished keepsake that is very up-to-date and chic. They will last as your baby (and his/her décor!) changes over time.
To celebrate the launch of these cherished mementos, I’ll be giving away 3 prizes, including a top prize of one FREE Baby Birth Plaque!
To enter the give-away contest, simply comment on this blog telling me which colour palette you would choose if you were the winner – and why it’s your favourite! So far we have “Chocolate Raspberry”, “Blue Denim” and “Fresh Citrus” available:
If you’re feeling really creative (and/or already have a favourite blinkie from KStar), you can opt to choose that set of colours and if you win the contest, I will put together a new palette based on that blinkie. 
Visit the Baby Birth Plaques store to view a couple of examples of the artwork. I will hopefully also have a sample to show you of what the completed project looks like in the mounted frame.
Here are all the details:
Contest is open to residents of Canada and the U.S.A. and entries will be accepted for one week. After the closing date/time (Friday, August 28th, 10:00am Eastern), a winner will be chosen by random number selection and contacted to make the personalization choices for the plaque. You can enter to win this lovely keepsake for your own baby or for one you know and it will be shipped to you.
2nd prize is a Baby Birth custom image, shipped to you unmounted. 3rd prize will be a coupon for $5 off an order of any plaque or image from KStar Design.
I welcome any feedback and suggestions about the design of the baby plaques as I get them off the ground!

I like the chocolate raspberry because I have a daughter but I personally like the blue denim because blue is my favorite color. Very cute.

Just chiming in saying chocolate raspberry is my fave cause I love brown with ANYTHING!!!!

I have to say that I’m partial to an orange/brown/yellow palette and I decorated Eve’s room in those colours (I know, so 70’s of me), but I have yet to find that in your blinkies… Maybe I just haven’t looked hard enough. The Fresh Citrus palette would go too, though!

I personally like the citrus. It is a very bright color and makes you feel happy when you look at it. Very nice job on all three though.

I like the chocolate rasberry but I really dont know which one I’d chose…lol…It would depend on if the baby turns out to be a girl or a boy but they are all very nice

I like the citrus palette best, myself. Orange is my favourite colour, and it’s stereotypically gender-neutral, which I find I prefer to have Taimi wear so far. Pink and ginger would clash, anyway.
Now I think on it, you gave us a wee shirt in those exact colours, Kris!

I personally love the denim, as I have a house full of boys. But those colors are very close to the ones I originally chose to decorate my FIRST baby’s room
