Cross stitch: “Love Lives Here”
September 4th, 2009 -- Posted in blinkies & other cuteness, scrappy / stampy | Comments OffI’ve been on a stitch kick lately, ever since finally picking up my needle again earlier this year after 8 months of no cross stitch work! These days, I’ve abandoned the rings in favour of small clip-close cases that I can store each project in to tote it with me (upstairs and down, to the car for those times I wait in it while DH runs in to get groceries, etc).
This “Love Lives Here” stitch pattern was based on an intertwined hearts design that I tried to transfer from the screen to a pattern. Didn’t turn out quite so well as I’d hoped but it gets the message across and you hardly notice with the distraction of a nice frame and cute embellishments.
