Yet another reason…

… why having disabilities turns your life all topsy-turvy and affects every little corner of it!

Reason #12,004,561: The pervasive need for us to have all of our “info” at our fingertips at all moments of the day.

This is not a problem for people who can easily make many trips up and down their stairs at home during the day. For me, the reality is, I lose access to a portion of things that I may need for the entire time I’m awake (which portion depends on where I am!). I even had to buy a new storage bin to accomodate all these balls of yarn. Brings back memories of helping my grand-mother with her stash – tucked in her basement in big rubber totes. Wish I’d started this hobby before she started all of her moving so that I could have inherited her tools and supplies! Oh well, I guess I am the type of person who likes to slowly build a complete tool kit anyways. And the shopping is a part of the fun of a new hobby!
