You know, there’s a difference between what we’re willing to “put up with” on a short-term basis and what we’re willing to accept as the status quo.
For example, I’ve patiently suffered through this amount of pain for over a year. And I respected the fact that my doctors didn’t want to completely load me up on painkillers (that’s what I did the first 3 months or so and I barely remember them!).
But now that I’ve been given the impression more and more that this might be what I have to deal with from now on, that patience is waning. When there’s an end in sight, you can push a little. Like the end of a race when you’re running full-steam. You know it’s temporary.
This doesn’t seem to be temporary. There’s hope I might *improve* and manage my pain better, etc. but now that my pain receptors are all FUBAR-ed, I may have to cope with this for the rest of my life.
Cue the ranting and bitching and “It’s no fair!”-ing… skip if you’re sick of it… ![]()

I revamped KStarDesign today and now it’s all spiffed-up with CSS, yay! As usual, I was afraid of giving up the old for the new and now I wish I’d done it sooner.
I wanted a little something extra for the main page and it took me forever to come up with a little welcome “tag” but I like the end result. I am also posting the other welcome tags that didn’t make the cut…
You may snag all but the last one if you want to use it on digital scrapbooking projects or anything.

So now more than ever, KStar is open and ready for business. If you know anyone who needs creative and unique graphics design at a really great price, please send them my way!
